I always try to find ways to reduce my environmental impact and be a voice for our natural world. When considering framing options, I wanted it to be something that was sustainable and would support the protection of our great forests and wild places that are diminishing more and more each year. I am ecstatic to have found this frame and to be able to offer it to you all!

The Barnwood frames that I am offering to compliment my prints are made from reclaimed barnwood in the USA, specifically in the midwest region where I am from. These frames are custom made to order and by their very nature, no two Barnwood picture frames are exactly the same. With minor variations and possible imperfections, these naturally occurring features create the great appeal of the barnwood frame style. This photo frame is perfect for rustic or contemporary interior design.

I love everything about this frame, each one is unique, made from recycled wood, has its own history, and is made close to where I was born and raised. MAT

Except for photos that already have a white background, all frames purchased through my store come with a pure white mat that allows for a 2 inch border along the print. Having a mat in the frame will help to focus the eye and draw attention to the artwork.

GLASS / STYRENE

Frames for 8 x 12 photos will come with glass. All frames larger than that will come with styrene which is High Impact Polystyrene. Unfortunately, if larger frames have glass then there is a much higher probability that it will shatter during transport.
